Dubco Ireland Credit Union offers eligible members the option to join our Death Benefit Insurance Scheme (DBI) a valuable support that helps ease the financial impact on your family after your passing.
What is DBI?
The DBI provides a lump sum payment of €3,250 (current benefit) to the nominated person on your account in the event of your death. This payment is intended to assist with funeral costs and other immediate expenses.
Who is eligible?
To qualify for DBI, you must:
- Be an active member of Dubco Ireland Credit Union
- Have joined before your 70th birthday
Cost of Cover
- The premium is currently €4.00 per month, paid directly by the member
- This amount is reviewed and approved by members at our Annual General Meeting
