Sheila Hennessy Wins Distinguished Leader Award at the 2026 Credit Union Awards 🏆

Dubco Ireland is delighted to congratulate our Chairperson, Sheila Hennessy, on winning the Distinguished Leader of the Year Award at the 2026 Credit Union Awards, held on Saturday, 17th October, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Dublin Airport.

Sheila has dedicated many years to Dubco Ireland as a volunteer, taking on various responsibilities and, most recently, serving as our Chairperson. Throughout this time, she has demonstrated an exceptional commitment to the credit union, its members and the values of the wider credit union movement.

This award is a well-deserved recognition of Sheila's hard work, dedication and leadership over the years. Her continued contribution has played an important role in supporting Dubco Ireland and helping the credit union grow while remaining true to its member-focused values.

Sheila was joined by colleagues and representatives from Dubco Ireland and the wider credit union community to celebrate this special achievement.
